End of Year Message - 2025/26
Thank you for your hard work and dedication this year.
This year, we have had lots of successes and reasons to celebrate in all of our schools across the Trust.
Congratulations to our primary schools for the great outcomes in all key stages including EYFS. Our Year 6 pupils leave primary school well prepared for secondary school because of the culmination of the work that you do from Nursery to Year 6. They have had such a rich experience.
Our APs continue to provide an exceptional service to Hull and further afield and of course support and enable our mainstream schools to be more and more inclusive. You do a tremendous job and we have so much to learn from you.
Our secondary schools have made significant progress this year. We have seen this recognised in three successful Ofsted inspections and two brilliant SIAMS inspections. Key Stage 3 outcomes are looking stronger every year and we look forward to celebrating with Year 11 pupils on results day.
Our central teams have supported schools in a wide variety of ways and without that support, we wouldn't be able to function as we do. Much of the work of the central team is hidden and our operations team will be working relentlessly over the holiday to improve and maintain sites with some significant building work.
One of the things that has struck me the most this year is the strength of collaboration across the Trust; we have always been good at this but we are now gaining real momentum through strong teamwork. There is palpable energy in the room when colleagues come together and a genuine desire to work together for the benefit of our children and young people. I am particularly proud of the way that we work so well cross-phase. Thank you for your engagement and contributions.
