Success at St James' for Year 3 student!

Year 3 student, Daisy, of St James' Primary School (Hull), has been named as one of Yunex Traffic's Road Safety Competition winners.

Yunex Traffic’s Road Safety Competition, in 2025, hit a record high, turning children’s designs into nationwide messages. The competition achieved a record 641 entries from 17 primary schools, demonstrating high engagement in creative road safety messaging.

Six winning designs, including Daisy's (Y3), were selected as winners and will be transformed into high-quality safety stickers displayed on Yunex Traffic service vehicles nationwide.

The challenge set to students was simple: design a road safety sticker that is not only eye-catching but also delivers a powerful and memorable safety message.

Following a robust judging process, Daisy's outstanding design was selected as one of the competition winners. Each winner stood out for the clarity of their message and their truly engaging presentation.

Congratulations, Daisy! We look forward to seeing the branded vans on the road.
